Serving families and individuals with intellectual and/or developmental disabilities, the Exceptional Family Center/Early Start Resource Center provides families with access to key resources and programs, helps identify and overcome cultural barriers, and creates a collaborative network of effective advocates.

Kindergarten Round Up & Fairs
Please attend your elementary school’s Kindergarten & Transitional Kindergarten Round Up! If your child will turn five on or before September 1, 2019, then he/she can attend Kindergarten in the fall of 2019. If your child will turn five between September 2 and December 2, 2019, then he/she can attend Transitional Kindergarten in the fall of 2019.
Round Up activities include: Kindergarten and Transitional Kindergarten enrollment packets, meet the Kindergarten teachers, see the school, free two week Summer Bridge applications, and free school readiness backpack full of materials to help you and your child prepare for school. Parents and incoming kindergartners or transitional kindergartners welcome.

In addition to Round Up, please attend the FREE Birth–to-5 Health and Safety Fairs at each ESUSD elementary school. The Health and Safety Fairs offer free kids’ books, bike helmets, poison prevention and safety information, car seat installation checks, child ID fingerprinting, community resources, and more.
