Are you in need of Childcare in Mammoth? 

Please complete our survey to inform us about your childcare needs. The surveys collected will help the development of the new Childcare Center to be built in Mammoth. Click the Survey Monkey link to complete online, or download the survey and return to First 5 or MCOE.  Survey will close December 4!

First 5 Mono is hiring a Peapod Leader for our Spanish Playgroup in Mammoth

The focus of the Peapod Program is the development of playgroups for Mono County parents, with the goals of enhancing the health, social, & emotional development of children ages 0-5, and supporting the mental health and stability of young parents.  The program also provides a safe and secure setting for parents to engage in discussion of mental health issues and issues facing new parents, works to increase the knowledge and confidence of new parents, and provides a forum to encourage new parents to gain a stronger tie to their community.

Governor signs Parental Leave bill

The New Parent Leave Act, SB 63, extends the right for new parents to take up to 12 weeks of Parental Leave with job protection while working at medium-size employers (20-49 employees). Previously, the Parental Leave law only applied to large-size employers.
